	Jonathan McKell was born on the 24th July 1806 Jonathan was born in Rutherglen Scotland and married Helen Speirs on the 21st June 1835. He was the second eldest son of Francis McKell and Elizabeth Muir. The photo shows Jonathan and Helen on the celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1885. 	William Speirs McKell born 1850, New Kilpatrick, Stirling. William Speirs McKell married Catherine Glen in 1875 On the 1881 census the family is shown living at Meeks Avenue, Falkirk and William's occupation - Joiner. Only three children were born by 1881, Jonathan, Elspeth and Robert. 	Isabella Speirs McKell was born 26th October 1855, Dumbarton, Scotland. She married John Bowler on the 29th December 1876 at New Town, Milngavie. They had 10 children Isabella's brother, William Speirs McKell married Catherine Glen in 1875 and their eldest son Jonathan McKell born 1876 continued the McKell family name. See photo below. 	William Speirs McKell born 1887 The son of William S McKell and Catherine Glen. William married Isabella Dale They had two children: William Speirs McKell born 1919 Isabella White McKell

	William Speirs McKell born 1919 The son of William S McKell and Isabella Dale. William married Isabel Adam Forbes. 	William Speirs Johnston McKell born 14th April 1899 He was the eldest son of Jonathan McKell and Ann Johnston, and was born in Falkirk, Scotland. He married Ilean Pretoria Westley in South Australia on the 12th March 1923 and together raised 5 children. This family photograph was taken in 1939 at Largs North, South Australia and shows L-R Seated Ilean, Dawn, Beryl, and Bill McKell Standing Jonathan, Katherine, and George McKell. Bill McKell died in South Australia on the 15th September 1957, however his family are still represented in Australia to this day and can be followed by visiting The McKell Family in Australia website, hosted by Warren Reeves, Bill McKell's grandson.
