John Stewart Dumbreck was born 1846 in Lanark; died 10th
November 1934 at
11 Bridge Street Rothsay.
At the age of 21 as a Blacksmith, he married Giles
Law on the 12th July 1867 at 13 Hospital Street, Hutchestontown,
Glasgow. Giles, who was born 1st January 1848 in Maryhill; died 5th
November 1920. She was the daughter of James Law and Margaret Cooper.
